Monday, November 5
Depart from the U.S.
Tuesday, November 6
After clearing customs in Israel, we will proceed to our hotel located on the Mediterranean Sea followed by dinner and a
brief informational meeting. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Wednesday, November 7
Our day begins at Caesarea, Mediterranean
Sea, Mount Carmel, Megiddo. Overnight on the Sea of Galilee.
Thursday, November 8
Arbel, Sepphoris, Kefar Kedem, Nazareth and
the Church of the Annunciation. Overnight on the Sea of Galilee.
Friday, November 9
Qatsrin, Chorazin, Mount of Beatitudes,
Capernaum, Kibbutz Nof Ginnosar, night boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Overnight on the Sea of Galilee.
Saturday, November 10
Kuenitra, Nimrud’s Fortress, Banias, ancient
Caesarea Phillippi, Banias Falls, Dan, travel from Dan to Jerusalem via the
Jordan Valley, Jericho, the Wilderness of Judea. Overnight
in Jerusalem.
Sunday, November 11
Temple Mount, Western Wall, Bethlehem, Church
of the Nativity, Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea
Scrolls are housed. Old City of
Jerusalem walking tour of the four quarters of the city: Christian, Armenian,
Jewish, and Arab. The rest of the day will be
free time. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Monday, November 12
Judean Wilderness, Khirbet Qumran, Ein Gedi,
Masada. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Tuesday, November 13
Jaffa Gate, Byzantine Cardo (the primary
north-south road) of Jerusalem, ancient wall lines of Jerusalem during the
reign of King Hezekiah and those rebuilt by the Hasmonean Dynasty, which stood
during the days of Jesus, Gennath Gate, an important northern gate leading out
of the ancient city of Jerusalem, Wohl
Museum, First Temple Model, Southern Wall excavations, City of David, Pool of
Siloam. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Wednesday, November 14
We check out of our hotel this morning as we
prepare to return home. Mount of Olives, Church of Dominus Flevit, Garden of
Gethsemane and reflect on Jesus’ actions the night before He was crucified,
Lion’s Gate, the Church of Saint Anne, built over the ancient Pools of
Bethesda, Via Dolorosa (“Way of Sorrow”), Church of the Resurrection. After
dinner, our bus will transport us to Ben Gurion Airport for our return flight to
the United States.
Thursday, November 15
Participants arrive in the United States with
their hearts full, their spirits recharged, and a lifetime of memories.
